Technology cutting on CNC machining centres
Martiňák, Marek ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to prove the mastery of the fundamental principles of technological background processing for CNC machining center CW 800. After studying specialized literature and gaining practical experience while working on the machinery in question, a technological characteristics of machining centres has been compiled, including the technological parameters of the above mentioned CW 800. Based on the sample of a concrete product, a machining technological process of the given part has been designed, including the programme itself. This design can serve as a model sample for generally applicable processing of technological background with other parts as well, on the basis of the submitted drawing documentation.

Cutting operation of cast iron
Nejedlý, Zdeněk ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with cutting operation of alloys of iron with high level of carbon – cast iron. First part of the thesis deals with properties of these materials. This part is focused on production, chemical composition and form of carbon, which are aspects that influence properties and machinability of cast iron. Differences in individual types are resumed in chapter, which deals with distribution of cast iron. Second part is devoted to machining. Machinability is evaluated for each group of cast iron and individual parts devotes to tool materials, wear of the tool edge and cutting surround.

Production of a hunting crossbow prototype
Ventruba, Petr ; Dvořáková, Jana (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the manufacturing of a hunting crossbow prototype. The first part summarizes the history of crossbows, their historical development and usage. The following chapter contains theoretical knowladge about the technological methods that are used in the production. This is followed by a designing of the prototype, creating a technological process and final production. Final part of this thesis evaluates individual parts of the production and the final prototype.

Shaft Machining on a CNC Machine
Prášil, František ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on design and subsequent production of a rotational component - a worm shaft for tractor Zetor 25A steering. The technology chosen for this purpose is machining with assistance of driven tool milling on CNC lathe. Within this bachelor thesis an investigation of CNC machines available in the production company has been performed. Furthermore a proposal of production technology process of the component has been carried out along with a technical report containing economical assessment.

Rationalization of machining technology
Plančar, Jakub ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on a design of rationalization solutions for machining workplace in Siemens Company. The machined pieces are shafts, the basic components of the electric motors. The introductory part of this study describes the theoretical basics of machining technology, especially milling. The next part is focused on the company presentation, the analysis of the existing workplace and its technologies and components. In the following section are selected weaker production sites, and then is presented opportunities for improvement and rationalization of this workplace. Following the elaboration of the selected rationalization solution, along with techno – economic evaluation of the production change, which highlights the results of this study.

Design of component production using turning technology
Surovčák, David ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This work analyzes an existing shaft design and design of a new construction and technology of this shaft for a particular series. It solves the ideal semi-finished product, the choice of a suitable machine for this particular technology, and the choice of tools for this production. The shaft is further checked for ultimate strength. It includes the production process and production guides. For turning technology, I also calculated an economic evaluation.
